Conor Bradley, the young talented right-back for Liverpool, is unfortunately facing a setback as he is expected to be out of action for around three weeks due to an ankle injury.
The injury happened early in the second half of the recent Premier League match against Crystal Palace.
In the absence of Bradley, Trent Alexander-Arnold returned to the field after recovering from a knee injury he sustained back in February.
This means Bradley will miss the upcoming Europa League game against Atalanta, as well as Premier League fixtures against Fulham, Everton, and West Ham in the rest of April.
Liverpool is currently trailing 3-0 against Atalanta as they prepare for the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final in Italy this Thursday.
There is hope that Bradley may return in May for matches against Tottenham, Aston Villa, and Wolves, to wrap up their Premier League season.
Throughout this season, Bradley, who is an international player for Northern Ireland, has played in 22 games for Liverpool, scoring one goal and providing six assists.
Following their recent loss against Palace, Liverpool is now two points behind the league leaders Manchester City with only six games left in the season.
